When I "add to file" when I have an XDCam422 CBR file the preview image and resulting movie playback places a white bar at the bottom and right side of the QT when viewed w QT10. It does not appear in
QT 7.66. Not sure what version I'm using, believe it's 5.3.4 and an update didn't fix the issue. Sorry I'm not at my machine right now
Any Ideas?
Thank You

There are some odd issues with a QuickTime setting called the movie aperture. Try opening it in QT7 Pro, hit Cmd-J and go to the tab on the bottom which has an "aperture" setting. Try changing it to Clean, or maybe Classic, and save the QuickTime. I'm on my iPad now so if you don't see what I'm referring to, I'll post more detailed instructions.

Note this is just a display issue in QuickTime player and shouldn't affect the file compatibility with other players like Omneon, etc.

if I encode to XDCam in compressor and deselect "include clean aperture information" I no longer have the issue, found it a while ago and forgot to update the findings. Thanks for the tip Jason!
