Hi folks,

I'm attempting my first archive to Cache-A LTO tape as speak. I think I have a clear understanding of the procedure but seem to be hitting a snag.

I logged into my Cache-A user interface via Chrome as a browser. I inserted a brand new LTO tape, initialized and renamed using the UI to my desired tape name, 'archive01'.

Back in CatDV, I went to the 'Archive Media Files' command. Ihit 'Configure' and pointed to the root folder of the Cache-A VTAPE, 'archive01'. Here's a screen shot of the CatDV window. It's recognizing a tape in the deck and root folder, but the 'archive' function is still disabled. Where am I going wrong?

Any thoughts appreciated, thanks,

Lindsay

Do you have the files you want to archive selected in CatDv? If you want to archive the whole catalog use command A to select all.

No, in fact I had nothing selected in the catalog! Worked like a charm. I figured it was something simple that I was overlooking. Thank you :)
