We are unable to animate the 'Qualifier' blur parameter with Dynamic Marks.
Are we are overlooking something obvious here?

It works correctly. While the numerical display will not show an actual value change between to dynamics marks the interpolation will be performed.
Verified to work in B2

Hmmmm.......we have noticed when key-framing other parameters that pausing the playhead between dynamic marks doesn't cause a numerical display change even though there is a visual interpretation.
This is not what we are referring to in the original post. The blur qualifier parameter is not being interpolated. A modified value on one dynamic mark is changing all marks?

Yet again I just checked playing through a sequence frame by frame and the "qualifier blur" parameter is indeed being animated with the dynamic marks. Ps. Check that you are not in the PTZR mode.

We're losing our minds here :-)
Have tried three different systems (all Mac) with following 'test'.

On a single shot we pull a simple key with the qualifier including leaving the blur to default (-100). We place a qualifier dynamic Mark on this the first frame. Go to the last frame and add a dynamic Mark and change the qualifier blur to +100. We see the blur change both in numerical values and its effect on the key.

Now...... we go back to the first frame dynamic Mark and it has ALSO changed from its original (-100) to +100. No question. Have repeated it many times. It is not interpolating.

This happens regardless of PTZR mode and/or Auto keyframe enabled.

Dynamic mark first, value change second. If no change from the default value then auto key will not be generated.
When following what you did : 1 st frame no change (ie -100), dynamic mark, last frame - dynamic, value change - no animation is expected.

Do this instead: make your key, make your correction, then go to first frame and do dynamic mark, then go to last frame do dynamic mark then do 100 on qualifier blur.

Interestingly enough as far as dynamics are concerned qualifier blur is a part of a color corrector subset in the key frames tab and not a part of the qualifier subset.
Also if you are to make a qualifier selection after you made a dynamic mark you have to repeat the same selection at all of the other marks. Otherwise the selection becomes void at those marks and the qualifier blur will have no effect as there is no selection. So make your selection first, then start doing dynamics.

Also see that you do not have any double marks.

Sometimes it happens that by mistake 2 key frames are 1 fame from each other
and last one it the one you want to be dynamic with not the first of two.

It may not be the case with you but it is possible.

I beg your pardon gentlemen this is simply not so. Try this:
1. Add a dynamic mark and then qualify your selection.
2. Switch on 'Auto Key framing for the qualifier.
3. Move the play head to a different frame in the clip.
4. This is the GOTCHA. With OUT adding a dynamic mark manually manipulate either the blur, shrink or off-set parameters in the qualifier. Notice that NONE of these settings changes will result in Resolve inserting an auto key-frame. It isn't until a Hue, Saturation or Luminance parameter is adjusted that a dynamic mark is inserted.

Please understand that Auto key-framing in its self is not the issue here its the fact that the 'Blur' parameter is not being recognized as a key-framable attribute wether auto or manual marks are used.

As I mentioned "qualifier blur" is a part of a "color corrector" as far as key frames are concerned and not a part of "qualifier". switching on auto kyframing for the qualifier will affect the curves of the qualifier and not it's blur. Blur in a qualifier panel is not a part of qualifier but rather an image operation applied to black and white matte resulting from qualifier use. I have repeated the experiment multiple times today trying to fail the qualifier blur animation on purpose and was not able to do so.

Ah ha. Got it now. That is indeed the missing link.
To animate all keyer attributes one must have both a Color Correction dynamic mark AND Qualifier mark.
