Good afternoon, much anticipated 8.2.1 version that supports cinemaDNG
footage is finally here. Just created a new project and imported Ikonoskop DNG files.
Went to the cinemaDNG window changed the parameters and nothing seems to be different,
material looks the same as the older version and clipped magenta highlights are still there.
Any thoughts…

Thank you!
John

I have same clipping magenta on other materials seems an error of data range monitoring.

Hello,

If you set the Cinema DNG settings in config>source nothing will happen.

If you right click the clip in the timeline and click edit Cinema DNG settings you can then manipulate the settings for the clip, if you select project it will add the settings you changed in config>source as well as individual clips and metadata from the camera.

Hope that helps

Sorry I also meant you can also change the settings for the individual clips or take the metadata from the camera

You can't imagine how helpful your instructions was, I can now shoot normal instead of under exposing my footage 1.5 stop fearing magenta clipped highlights. One again, you help really appreciated!

Best regards John
