Hi,

I have avoided facing the demise of MobileMe. But it's time to move on.

I need something like iDisk. I shoot news footage and like to avoid duplicate FTP's to various networks to offer footage that loses value with every minute that passes. I routinely use iDisk to upload a couple minutes of b-roll and then can send links to various news desks in a concise email which includes relevant shotlist, price and terms of use.

There are several services claiming to offer similar functionality. Does anyone have positive experience with any of them? Most of my files are around 350 mb, though some are a gig or more. I want to have the fastest upload for me, so I can get out shooting again and easiest download for the overnight news desk producer who really doesn't have a ton of time to spend checking out my file and deciding whether to purchase.

Thanks for any advice.

Fritz

Very happy with dropbox. Loads of sync feature and some of the easiest sharing. SugarSync and Box are the alternatives, and there was rumors of iCloud going to do something big (Jobs was talking with Dropbox at one point.)

Thanks for the input!

Dropbox was one of the top services I was planning on checking out.
Is it easy for the recipient to use and consitently fast download/upload (Obviously, my connection is main determinant of speed)?

My main criteria are ease of use for recipient and speed of upload/download.
