Lower Third Gradient: bug?

I can't get the Lower Third Gradient to work properly:


The Main text is nowhere to be found an the gradient only displays partial.

Bug?

Yes I know it is a freebe, but if it is not working I might as well ask about it.

we've tried this plugin on 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8 in Premiere Pro with different graphics cards and sequence settings and we're not seeing the problem you see.
