Trailer Sound effect

. Im looking for a sound effects (well the name of the sound effect) It a String instrument that builds up and up and up then cuts out they use it in horrors trailers all the time. I cant find it nor can i recall what its called. Does anyone know?

That's really not a sound effect. That's a music cue. A few music collections have these small kinds of musical stings and hits for different uses, and some SFX collections have them as well.

that is a great suggestion. I have the collection and use it almost every day. Oh yea how much commission do they pay (LOL). It should have the sounds you are looking for.
