 | Ki Pro as a Slo-Mo?
by Chuck Pullen on Aug 3, 2010 at 5:49:07 pm |
Not sure if this has ever been discussed here yet. Just thinking out loud. I have a Ki Pro, need a Slo-Mo machine, anyone think of a way to make this happen? Maybe there is a BUF Tech controller or PC interface that would work through the comm. port?

Yesterday I used KiPro's in combination with a real Slo-Mo machine, the EVS XT2.
It would require the KiPro to keep recording while playing back material. And instant search inside the recorded footage. It would be great if the KiPro's could do that with a software update. I would even pay for that update ;-)

Tried Ki Pro with Sony PVE500 editing controller.
Works nice, with only 4 or 5 speeds.
Gonna try a DNF slow motion controller soon and let you know.

Thanks for the info. Anyone thinking what I’m thinking? “deck” to “deck” editing with two Ki Pro’s! Just like the old days LOL

Tried a DNF ST-300T with three Ki Pros. Worked fine, with variable speed control.
Currently use a 3Play, and was amazed by the quality of Ki Pro.
