Can anyone point me towards a tutorial or give me an idea of how to create an anaglyph 3D in After Effects using a zdepth map? Im having a hard time finding anything. I need to figure out how to do this in cs5 and not 5.5. Thank you!

First I'd check Video Copilot to see if there are any tutorials relating to Zdepth maps http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/

Then, if you don't have them already, I'd download the AE Stereo Scripts by Christoph Keller:
http://pinkau.com/download/aestereoscripts.zip

And go to his vimeo tutorial on how to put those scripts to work:
http://www.vimeo.com/10701501

...assuming your goal is to use the depth maps to do stereo work.

Hope this helps. If not, I may be able to point you in a better direction if I have a better sense of what you're trying to do so feel free to elaborate on what you're trying to accomplish.

I'd also highly recommend Bernard Mendiburu's book "3D Movie Making" if you don't have it. He has a lot about depth mapping in Chapter 8, beginning at around page 135. You should really purchase the book at some point, but since I don't think you can just run out to Borders and pick up a copy, I'd bet you can do a google search and come up with a .PDF to get you through what you have to do now.
Just make sure to give your thanks to the author by purchasing the book when you get a chance.
