A particular Particular Problem

Hi all - I can't seem to hide the XYZ emitter point guide marks (the red, green, blue lines) from my comp. I've restarted the program, looked at every drop-down, re-registered, tried to do a full render, made a pre-comp, searched forums, and everything I can think of.

I added a drop shadow to the layer that has Particular - and the guide lines are even showing a shadow. It's very weird.

I have my emitter point's XY values linked to another layer via an expression - but I don't think that's the problem.

Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of these lines? I've never had this problem before.
