Last year i was editing a feature documentary called BACK TO THE GARDEN. and suddenly i realized the need for stock footage. only i noticed that all stock footage was insanely expensive so i decided to create http://www.slamstock.com for the grassroots filmmaker. Every shot on the site is on price $5. No hidden cost at all. Its only $12.95 to subscribe for one year and that actually includes 5 free shots.my plan is to set out on a trip around the world and just collect and add footage daily to the site. Allready there almost 500 shots on the site which has its own search engine as well. request a shot! Please. i built this for people like myself who need stock footage on a tight budget.

Watched the intro video, looks like great stuff. Don't you think your stuff is worth more then $5? iStock will charge about $120 for an HD clip. Even if you get 10% of that you are making more then $5. I'm just saying your sample clips look great.

Tim,
By the way, the best way to get your footage noticed is through Search Engine Optimization. I know a person who is really good at it if you are interested.
