Hi Kids,
I started a blog awhile ago about working as an actor and voice over artist in Los Angeles. This week, I wrote a love letter to my old GEICO campaign. If you're in the cyberhood, please drop on by. We love company! THE DC DOUGLAS BLOG

Too funny, DC. I had no idea that Edie McClurg was the voice of Mrs. Butterworth. She is so funny.
I remember the first time that I saw the one with The Pips in it. I exploded in laughter because it was a dead ringer for what they used to do with Gladys Knight. Too funny.
But I have to agree with you, the funniest one of the Geico commercials was the one with Don LaFontaine. Priceless. I remember the first time that I saw it, before he even opened his mouth, I knew what was coming -- and sure enough, it was perfection.
I would agree with you on both counts that Joan Rivers was the second best of the bunch, and that the one with Peter Graves was creepy.
One of these days, we will have to hire you to do some voiceover work on some of the COW's stuff.

Thank you for this great link. Not only is it useful for voice over actors to keep up to date and knowledgeable about their field, but it is also highly useful for people like myself. It is great to get an insight into another field of production.
Cheers.
