I updated my U-1 software to the newest version, so now I'm using XDCAM Drive Utility instead of the old U-1 Utility. However, whenever I put a disk in my U-1 drive, I get the following error:

Error reading metadata from file 'Preds Stnd07205S01.MXF' (input stream is not good())

Does anyone know what this means? How do I fix it? The disks usually come from our cameras which are PDW-F355 cameras.

Thanks.

This error usually indicates an issue with the video. Does the disc play properly elsewhere?

I also have a PDW-F75 deck. My work around is to plug a firewire cable in the deck to use it as a drive. The disk is fine that way. I only have trouble in the U-1 drive.

FWIW- solved my own problem. I was running version 2.12 of XDCAM Transfer and needed to upgrade to 2.13. Missed the last number. Running fine now.
