PD150 in HDV production
by Don Hutcheson on Aug 19, 2009 at 5:52:29 pm

I'm doing a bit of B-roll footage on a PD-150 that will be used in an HDV piece. What is the best aspect ratio setting for the PD-150 so that there won't be black bars or other obvious differences when rendered beside 16:9 HDV footage?

Thanks,

Don

Hutch

You should be able to shoot 16:9 anamorphic on the camera. It's in the menu. Then at least you'll have aspect consistency. Quality will be different though, if you are shooting more of it in HDV.
