Is this possible with Telestream Wirecast?
by Ryan Santos on Aug 20, 2009 at 4:49:10 am

We haven't tried broadcasting on the internet before. Is this possible with Wirecast?

http://www.myasiancasino.com/en/games-live.php

My client wants an online casino. We can hire flash developers to build the site. We can also setup the casino, the lighting, the cameras and all that stuff to shoot. But I don't know how to webcast and how to attach and position the live footage at the middle of the flash game interface. I'm surfing the web and saw Telestream. Is telestream the answer to my problem?

Thanks and God bless.

Ryan, this is exactly what Wirecast is for. Live Web Broadcasting.

You hook the cameras, recorded video, even capture your desktop and it encodes and sends it out to the internet live.

The trick is choosing the right CDN (Content Distribution Network). CDN/Server can range from one you build yourself with Wowza, Adobe Flash Media Server, Quicktime Streaming Server, Darwin Streaming Server, Windows Media Server (Windows version only) and others, to free ad based services like Ustream, Livestream, JustinTV to CDNs like Limelight or Akamai.

It includes a software based production switcher that can broadcast multiple cameras (at the same time such as guest/host interviews), do titles, chroma keys, add logos.
