I use Wirecast 4 for our church broadcast but there are some things I want to do that I see in Wirecast but even with the manual I can't figure out how to do.

I want to do layers and the A B view I can't ever figure out how to put the picture or feed in the B side.

I understand how layers work just can't seem to figure out how to do it.

Any help would be great.

Blessings!
Rich

Open the Shot Editor. Select source for Channel A. Select source for Channel B.
I'm not quite sure where the confusion is from your post.
You can have up to seven layers in the shot editor. They can be anything from video sources, audio sources, stills, video files. Composite them any way you'd like.
There are five Master Layers as well. Each can contain a completely composited Shot with seven layers. That can give you a total of 35 layers.
