| 1080i/30p upscale???
| | | |
I was supposed to shoot video at
Frame size: 1920x1080
Frame rate: 29.97 (does this mean 60i???)
By mistake, I recorded 1080i/30p. Can I upscale my footage to match the specs above? or am I screwed?
thanks,
CG

Hello Conrado,
hmm i think we have to change this forum name into 1080dots digital signage ;)
yes 29.97 is an interlaced format, sometimes called 60i or 59.94
if you recorded 30p you recorded 30 full frames a second, non-interlaced (film look).
Just check your editing software, i gues your software will be able to convert your video timeline into the right format.
I don't no what kind of editing software you are using, but you can try to ask this question in for instance a Apple Finalcut or Adobe Premiere forum.
good luck!
