Final Cut Server with Sony XDCAM EX

Anyone come up with a decent workflow for final cut server's that need to ingest sony xdcam ex footage? Tthe MP4 files that the sony ex's create do not seem to make final cut server happy.

I found the way to use the "import" button to export mov files (without re-compression) from within Sony's XDCAM Transfer Application/plug-in. That ought to do the trick.

Final Cut Server can handle MOVS or MP4's..it's Sony's long-gop structure that it doesn't like.
