FCS hangs on slate - displaying 'Analyzing Cache'

Hi

I've just spent a few days setting up my FCS metadata sets and testing to display in a proposal. After changing some sets (perhaps notably I changed my 'Thumbnails' to '.thumbnails'), i quit for the setting to take effect and since then it has hung on the slate at the 'Analyzing Cache' phase. My last db backup would set me back a long way.

I'm working with it all running on my MacBook Pro.

Have any of you had this before.. and/or solved it?

Hi Sam,

Does this happen for all users? I would try other users to identify if it is an issue with a specific user or groups of user.

I have this issue right now but it is not with my account but 4 or 5 new accounts that have been made,

Ummm not unless you live in the UK and work for ESPN...

Pretty sure I know all the FCSvr users on my systems ;)

Hahah well what do you know! I stand corrected. Sorry it was a crazy day yesterday cause we are having huge San slow down issues...

How are you getting on with this?
