Is FCS Worth It?
by Bruce Jacobs on Jun 5, 2009 at 5:47:53 pm

Years ago, I was very impressed with ArtBox, before Apple bought it to become FCS.

When FCS was finally released, I jumped and bought it. But then the disappointment started. It seemed like there were cool ArtBox features missing - can't quite put my finger on it. And the little we played with it, there have been stability issues. And, we learn about significant server requirements to support it.

What are we missing?

Are there a bunch of FCS users here able to speak with wonder about how helpful it has been in their operation?

Bottom line is it needs a lot more development and integration. My hope is 2.0 will bring a more Apple-like UI and features.

I've successfully done some very interesting magic and integration with FCSvr for several companies in Los Angeles. The key to a successful integration and experience with FCSvr is to hire an experience consultant that specializes in FCSvr deployment and integration.

If you'd like to speak in detail, don't hesitate to contact me.
