Random Edit Proxies Created

Hi all
We're still getting our feet wet here with FCS and it's certainly an interesting package. One strange hiccup I've found and haven't been able to figure out is this:
I upload a FCP Project, everything transfers fine. We have enabled edit proxies so we can edit off site (and I from home) but only random clips actually get a edit proxy generated. I have gone back and analyzed those clips and some get the edit proxy then while others do not. It seems to be a random thing.
I have searched the forums and discussions over at Apple but most posts I've seen are either all the proxies were created or none were created. Anyone else have this problem?

Comprssor 3.0.3 would be the problem if you have indeed updated with the combined Software Update 2008-02
You'd need to reinstall Compressor and update no further than 3.0.2 to fix the missing proxy issue.
It may be that you had some proxies generated prior to the update and since the update, no more proxies will auto generate during "full scans" of FCSvr. It would look like random proxies not being created but is more likely Compressor 3.0.3 has broken the proxies. All of us are suffering from this issue for weeks now.

Ahhh ok, thanks Brent. That's rather nice that an update breaks things...though I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. I'll give reinstalling a go. anything I should potentially watch out for before I do this? All I need to do is crash FCS in the process.
