FCSrv and final cut x

Hi guys, i know its been time ago since the FCSrv was discontinued but im just about to conclude implementation of a big postproduction facility in which i will use the server and fcs3. We have been struggling with this project since past april and we expect to take control over user accounts and help workflow improve in this way.

But how long could i keep using this program? if everything go as expected on next january (maybe 2013's june) i will have to upgrade 50 FCS3 suites to FCPX, im not sure if i will be able to use X in the workflow. its been a lot of investment in servers and software just to be used for one year. any other MAM that could run over xserves?
