Assets lose metadata after upload

Hi everyone,

Just getting into FCS and uploading a couple dozen tape's worth of footage. I've created a custom metadata group with fields specific to my organization's needs. I'll fill out this info in the Upload window, but sometimes after the upload and analyze is complete, the information is missing from my custom group. The Asset group still has its info. This gets to be a real pain since there's no bulk-edit capability once everything's uploaded.

It's anecdotal, but it seems that if I quit and relaunch my FCS Client app, the first couple uploads do not have this problem, but then it eventually kicks in again.

Has anyone run into this? Any suggestions?

Just a quick thought also
to your other post. When creating a device it is best practice to quit client and restart.
