Final Cut projects imported into server don't create Proxies
by Steve Garratt on Sep 15, 2009 at 5:12:56 pm

We have just completed a standard install of FCS on our Xserve/ Raid setup. All of the movies we install create proxies no problem but the FCP Project files don't create proxies.. I've checked all the settings and they seem to be correct... is there a make it work properly button I've missed?

Did you set up any Analyze Filters on the device that you are uploading / cataloguing FCP Projects too?

Hmmmm... Not sure, are they part of the normal setup procedure or are they something you have to do in adition. if so then no... what should they be?

2 things. 1 could be compressor fail. 2 i have seen no proxies because they are not in a timeline. I have pushed a proj with clips in bin for a later date and no proxies got generated.
