Parallels and boot camp
by Chris Kellam on May 21, 2008 at 5:04:46 am

Hello,
I have windows xp installed on my macbook pro just fine. I have installed parallels which created an icon on my desk top called "my boot camp". When I clicked on this icon the first few times a message came up telling me I must restart my computer—so I did. Finally parallels came up and it informed me that I must re-activate windows. I clicked yes and the mouse froze with the option of releasing the mouse and keyboard by using the crl-alt. I did this but I don't know what to do from here. The screen stays like that and nothing seems to happen.. Any ideas on how to get this up and running. I'm using windows xp on a macbook pro 4gb. Thank you Chris.

I'm not sure what to tell you. When was using Parallels, I found a lot of answers to similar problems on their support forum. You might look there.

Anyone else have any ideas?
