How to Draw the Vector Stock Sphere
1 - Rotate the original so it’s vertical.
2 - Create swatches and eyeropper all of the used colors.
3 - Radial gradient for the sphere.
4 - Draw ellipses for each of the rings.
Make the stroke width the same as the ring.
5 - Duplicate the path rings so you have a backup of the primary structure.
Then, Object/Path/Outline Stroke.
6 - Drop the transparency of the new rings so you can see the raster.
7 - Use the Group Selection Tool to select and adjust the inner
outer rings.
8 - Pathfinder/Divide and Ungroup so you have a back and a front ring.
9 - Duplicate the front rings to create the drop shadows.
Duplicate the sphere to use as a mask.
Object/Clipping Mask/Make.
10 - Create subtraction masks to use with
Pathfinder/Minus Back.
11 - Rotate a copy.
12 - Duplicate the rotated copy and Pathfinder/Unite
