Color settings problem
by Ernie Santella on Jun 27, 2009 at 1:47:25 pm

I just installed CS4 and I am having trouble with my color. I need some assistance with settings.

I open a RAW file into PS and it looks great. But, when I save it to JPEG they look washed out. Any idea why? There's some settings Under VIEW-PROOF SETUP that when I change it during PS to Macintosh RGB, it washes out the image similar to what I am seeing as a JPEG. What should the correct setting be for CS4 to work in PS and output an identical color-space image.

Can someone tell why what's going on? I never had this problem with CS3.

If you still have CS3 on your machine go tot edit >> color settings and save your settings. In CS4 go to edit >> color settings and LOAD the settings you saved.
