Thank you Richard for putting out all of these tutorials. I am the type of person who would use the manual to find the new features and learn about them. Now that Adobe no longer ships with manuals, these tutorials are great in that they show the new intrinsic functions.

One question I had while watching this was how is this different than just masking a blurred layer? Seems like duplicating a layer, gaussian blurring it, and then masking the areas to expose the original provides the same result. Is this a different blur algorithm?
