Resizing an Image without losing aspect ratio in photoshop 7
by Brian on Jun 22, 2005 at 1:45:25 pm

I am wanting to keep an image at 640x480 and don't want to lose my aspect ratio. But when I change it to that setting, the picture looks fat and squashed. How do you make a picture that was taken at a larger resolution fit down to 640x480????

Usually, if you want to keep the same aspect ratio for your image, you must check the *constrain proportion* in the *image size* dialog. If your bigger resolution image has other proportion than 640x480 (4:3) it's naturl to don't look alike when you make it 640x480.. maybe you must crop it a bit :)
