Hello All,
It gives me special honor to welcome Mike Skibra back to the Creative COW forum team. We have known Mike for many years he is one of the nicest people in this industry. His knowledge of the tools and processes that support digital content creation are rarely equaled and I am hard-pressed to think of anyone who surpasses his knowledge. Oh, and he's one incredibly nice person. Ron and I have always held Mike at a level of respect that places him at the apex of this industry.
Mike has helped introduce some of what are today the most popular tools in this industry (click on his picture to read more about him) and he always seems at the forefront of finding what are soon to be the tools that everyone will be using in the days ahead.
Softron Media Services products leverage the non-proprietary hardware that many of our members already own, with Softron software tools that take existing video assets into newer distribution forms such as kiosks, internet broadcasting and other ancillary distribution channels.
So please welcome Mike Skibra and Softron to the Creative COW line-up.
Oh and did I mention that Mike is one of the nicest and most kind people in this industry?

Hey Mike,
It's good to see you back in the COW. I have to agree with Kathlyn that you are indeed one of the kindest people in this industry. I remember back many years ago when we first met you and you saw us outside the door at one of the old Broadcast Designers Association events and you got us badges that saved us a few hundred dollars on entrance fees. I think you were with Tech-something-or-other Distributing then, (don't ask me the name, it's lost in time somewhere!).
It is an honor to have you here in the COW.
We wish you the very best in your endeavors with Softron and we look forward to learning more about the company and its products. As Kathlyn said, you are always ahead of the curve.
Now in the COW Magazine: Commercials. A look at the history, strategy, techniques and production workflows of successful commercials. All brought to you by some of the COW's brightest members. Accept no substitutes!
