Need to know how much RED 4k-2k transfer would cost to blow up to a 35mm print? a digital print?

which stock, is the DI complete for the stock at hand.


but start about $65K USD and go up very very quickly.

Also, prep is different for a film out as there is a right (grading in log space) and and no as good way (converting HD Color space to log).

Depending on how you want to finish, Gary is right, the costs can really start to rise.

If you're only looking for one print, then I'd call Tunnel Post. They have a workflow to go straight from file to a release print that is much more affordable than other ways.

The bare minimum would be around $250-$300 per minute of run time. This does not include your final conform, digital master, sound mix or any color correction.
