ok first post. So I'm doing an adjust track in Mocha AE on my Mac and I get this annoying little error when I start to add new reference points. "Unstable configuration detected: returning points to original positions." and then it does exactly that, leaving me unable to finish this shot. I'm not quite sure how to fix this. Thanks!

I guess the question is: why are you using new ref points and in which direction? If the new ref is way off the given plane and not a "usable" new point, it will give errors letting you know that this new point is not going to work.
FTP me your project and I will take a look.
Best,
Ross

I create a new reference tracker on a nearby track mark, on the frame before the first reference tracker goes off screen. It doesn't seem to matter if I track forward or backwards, the error pops up.
