Mocha for AE not importing footage correctly

Hello, I just got mocha for AEcs4. I am trying it for the first time. I am trying to import some footage from an HVX200 in 720p. When I select the clip and get to the main screen, the footage is messed up. Frame 0 and 1 are blank, then frame 2 shows the image upside down. Then from frame 3 and on there is no image again.

Yes, possibly Snow Leopard is the cause. Try exporting the frames as sequential images. The problem is most likely due to a bug in QT that Apple is looking into.

I tried it on my other system with leopard and had similar results. I converted the file to animation and it worked fine. but i don't want to have to convert my files just to do tracking.
I then downloaded the demo of mocha 2 for AE and it worked fine on leopard and snow leopard. The version that came with my AE was 1.2.2 I believe.
with 1.2.2 in addition to DVCPRO, ProRes didn't work either.
So if anyone has any thoughts, that would be great.

There's an update to the version that came with AE, it should come down with the usual updates from Adobe as Mocha for After Effects CS4 1.2.3. It should fix any QuickTime problems you might be getting on Leopard, but not the problem on Snow Leopard.

I don't know why anyone else isn't mad about this situation. SInce paying to upgrade to Snow Leopard my Mocha completely stopped working so now I have to pay again to buy V2 so that Mocha will be compatible again?? It's frustrating!!

Sorry that this is so frustrating. We do have a point release available that does fix this, but can't post this publicly due to our agreement with Adobe (if you catch my drift).
If you email me off the list with the following description:
subject: CS4 owner requests mochaAEv1 for Snow Leopard patch
I will send you an FTP link to download the point release.
Beyond this, if you aren't upgrading your v1 to v2 and mocha shape plug-in, you are missing out on some great advanced roto functionality at a very low cost point.
Best,
Ross
