Computer Camera

Sorry if this is in the wrong topic, but I honestly couldn't find a better one.

I'm going to shoot some footage with FRAPS in a video game and I'm wondering if there's such a thing as a lens adapter simulator for a program like that.

Or would it have too much control over the game appearance so that it would just not be allowed to be used or even created to work properly with the game?

It has been a long time since I played with FRAPS, but as far as I know, and probably your best bet is going to be to record your footage normally, then reexport it out of an editing program that can apply the effect you're looking for.
