NEGATIVE FILM, NEED HELP RETELECINE TO HD

We have a film shot on negative film, telecinied to digibeta, digitized into final cut pro without flex files. Need to make hi def copy of the cut. retelecine in HD?
Do you retelecine to HD format? How do you conform the new HD to the existing cut?

Hi,
You should definitely do a film transfer directly to HD. Beyond getting a good HD version your SD version will look better if you create it from the HD transferred directly from film.
