Do you know what Steve? We'll look back at this time and recognise that from VP11>VP12 has seen SCS throw open the doors to 3rd Party developers for FXing and a truly creative and exciting leap forward for Vegas. I know that with the scripting companies we've had the advantages of User friendly Utilities, but now the accelerator has been gunned to gives all an inside view as to what is going to be a remarkable leap to be made by the designers at SCS. One major part of this has been its vociferous User base demanding more. Proof positive that SCS has responded is the last 18 months of development bringing us the plethora of truly creative and organic plugs emerging. Personally, Sapphire Edge and Monsters has been truly satisfying and worthy of much use. Added to which the Particle Illusion direct plug to the Event is magic.

There are good times ahead for Vegas, but they've already arrived.

Cheers

Grazie

True, there are good times ahead indeed.
In the past i would never believe that one day
Particle Illusion, Twixtor, Genarts Sapphire, Edge and Monster, etc,
would ever be available. Vegas large user base is getting
heard and recognized indeed by creative third party developers
and SCS themselves.

You shouldn't forget about Vegasaurus! [Or however you spell it lol]
It saves a lot of event pan/crop keyframes as presets

Normally by default Vegas can save only 1 event pan/crop keyframe UNLIKE filter packages

Well Vegasaurus saves all the event pan/crop keyframes as presets.
That way users don't have to create new keyframes again and again for creating wiggles/shakes and stuff
I think Vegasaurus supports masks too.
Haven't tried it out but I read a lot of reviews about it.
It's a plugin totally worth trying out :)
