Hello. I use Sony Vegas Pro 10, for a year now or so I've always been experimenting around with video quality vs. size, and I can't seem to find anything great.

This is my problem, the video quality on this is the problem. The left is the original Recording, and the right is after I rendered it into WMV.

On YouTube, the video is even worse: I don't know why.

It's very saturated I guess, you can see how the screen seems to have extra tints of white in it.

I'd just like to know how to keep that quality from the original recording, it looks fairly good to me.

Thank you.

I always use Sony AVC MP4 Render option for internet when uploading to YouTube. Try it and see.. John

Cole,

I agree with John, Sony AVC is a good choice. WMV is a waste of time.

Thanks for that, all that whiteness is gone and the quality is better, not to mention file size smaller than an AVI.

Yep, The Sony AVC/MP4 format is my highly recommended
format for online distribution.
