Here's another,
Is it possible, via keyframing, to have an event (clip) fly in from behind another (which is cropped) and into the front of it?

I just played around and you need to use Track Motion and keyframes.
Make sure that both tracks are set to 3D mode or it won't work.
Use a combination of the X or Y axis to move it left/right and the Z axis to get it from behind to in front.
