I know Flip cameras are still around even though they're no longer made, but does anyone recommend a good point and shoot camera that's very compact? I know someone who just bought a Kodak one that is waterproof up to 10 feet and takes SD cards, and that seems like a pretty good deal. I just wondered what else is out there. I'm just looking for something that you don't have to do much to start up and is very small and portable (though no phones). The Kodak one is great because it takes SD cards, it lets you set the mic level, and it's sturdy and small, though I wonder how reliable it is.
Googling "point and shoot video cameras" mostly yields small still cameras.
Edit: But googling "pocket cameras" did. Turns out the Kodak PlaySport is probably one of the better ones, and best yet, IT DOES 60 FPS! I'm testing out slow motion on it, which is great. The picture's pretty noisy, but for such a cheap, small camera, I hardly care.
