How to display original files timecode in sony vegas movie studio HD 11.0?

Hello!

I need to see the timecode of the original files I'm workin with in Vegas.
If I use just 3 seconds of a 3 minute video I need to check which is the exact timecode of the original file for those 3 seconds I'm editing in Vegas.
Can someone explain me to do that?

Assuming that things work the same way in Movie Studio that they do in Vegas Pro, apply the Timecode FX to the event WHILE it's still in the Media tab.
If you drag it to the timeline, all you'll get is timeline timecode and not original timecode.
