So I shoot with a sony HDR-cx150 at 1920x1080 60i.

For a couple years now I have been using sony vegas pro 9 and just love it and been very happy.

I do allot of videos where I have small segments of slow motion and I get ghosting when I do so. For some time I have just accepted it and moved on. As I have gone along I have tried to learn/understand all I can and from what I gather there are other programs that will aid in trying to make smooth slow motion video.

Any input would be helpfull

Well, Twixtor is now available for both Vegas 10
and Vegas 11.....You cannot ask for better than that.

How is the quality after rendering? I am running pro 9 currently and looked at upgrading to 10 or 11.

Hi;

Slow motion is not trivial. You must start with footage that contains enough information to slow down.

Here is a thread you might find interesting:

BTW, I had a CX150 at one time. Cool little cam.

have you looked into the 1080 60p cameras? I have some Panasonic TM700s and with a Vegas custom preset to handle the 60p, I can produce some great slow motion video. I think Canon and Sony make a 1080 60p camera mow too.
