Not all releases of Vegas have been without issues, but for me this one seems to have squashed all the nasty bugs in my setup. The pessimist in me says 'don't talk too soon'... but so far it seems like Sony have gone through with a potent bug spray.

Hasn't crashed or failed to load once.. and I have been hammering it.

Phil,

Interesting feedback.

Do you by any chance use Boris BCC with Vegas? I do, and found that BCC's performance in Vegas was way poorer in 10d. Going back to 10c gave me back my performance. I know my machine is a bit old, but there was definitely a difference between 10c and 10d in terms of performance with BCC..

I have not done proper tests yet, so I am not saying yet where I believe the issue is - this is just an observation, and when I have an opportunity I will make some proper tests...

Thanks

Good to hear that Phil.
Cannot relate with Boris though, i keep it out of my work-flow.

I am the same as Steve in that I don't use BCC. In the past .mov files have been an issue, but all the files from AE work fine.

So far, I agree. It's even rendering Cineform without crashing... a problem for me since Vegas 10, despite some special Cineform APIs that Vegas 10 apparently uses. The Same versions of Cineform, upgrades and all, have continued to work just dandy in Vegas 9, using the usual Windows interface.
