I recently upgraded to Vegas Pro 10, 64 bit. I tried to cover all my bases regarding plug-in compatability, but I forgot about one: Bias SoundSoap.

Does anyone know if 1). There is a plug-in version of SoundSoap that will work with the 64 bit version of Vegas, or 2). if not, is there a substitute that I can use to achieve the same goal of filtering out background noise from my audio tracks?

Thanks in advance,

Carl

No, Sound Soap is 32-bit only. You could always use it with the 32-bit version of Vegas and then render the files and use the rendered files in the 64-bit version.

iZotope RX. It's a far superior noise remover to Sound Soap and it's 64-bit compatible with Vegas.

Thanks, John. I'll give iZotrope a try.

John,

Just one follow-up: do you know if I'll require the standard version of iZotope RX, or the "Advanced" version to support Vegas 64 bit as a plug-in? I hope it's the former, as the Advanced version is considerably more expensive.

The standard version of Izotope RX2 works fine with my 64bits Vegas
