Constant blurrly text media in preview sony vegas 8

Not a major issue but all my text apperas very blurry and almost unreadable in my preview window of sony vegas 8. Once rendered the text comes out find but it can make editing quite difficult as i cant get a decent look at what the final product will be before a lengthy render. I have tried messing with my preview settings quite a bit and nothing seems to alter the perview text itself, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i cant get a decent look at what the final product will be before a lengthy render

You could try just doing a quick ram render of a section to check it.
Also try setting your text resolution at twice the project resolution.

Change the preview window to Best/Full. However, that will slow down the video playback in the editing process.
