Sony Vegas Rendering Problem

Hello all, I am facing a situation on Sony Vegas Pro 9.0. I am trying to render my movie file and the rendering continuously stays at 0% and the time reaches near 10 hours to complete. The file is less than 20 MB in size and no longer than 30 seconds in length. I have tried rendering the file into ALL of the available video formats; IE: MOV,AVI,WMV... I am using Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

Make sure you're using the newest update which is 9.0b
What kinds of files (video, stills, etc.) are on the timeline?
What format are they (DV, HDV, AVCHD, etc.)?
If there are any stills, how large are they and what format are they?
