Can't get from clip browser to Vegas 8.0, why?

I Can't get from clip browser to Vegas 8.0, no matter what. Is there a way to drag and drop clips in the clip browser to Vegas 8.0?
Or why isn't there a section that is the "clip browser" right there with Explorer, media generators, etc. I click "media bins" and "all media" and nothing happens. It would be so lovely if the two software programs were linked better for us non computer savvy folks. I need a simple solution, please help. Thanks in advance.
