media offline issue

hello team,
i have vegas 8.0 and come here as a guy not good with cpus with a problem.
long story short, im trying to finish three videos, and cant bc it says the audio media is offline. now the other night everything was fine and was able to get three other videos from the same "lot." i orginally had to go to a pro audio guy to get the correct "codex" because my new kodak zi-6 doesnt make the correct files for vegas...
so now i cant finish these 3.. i restarted.. nothing new... im desperate...
