Video & Audio Capture With One Click??

I'm trying to capture video and audio from two separate sources. Video is fed from remote cameras through a Vaddio system, then via firewire to the laptop. Works fine, no problem there. The audio is directly off the sound board, through a Tascam U144 to the laptop. That also works fine.
Here's the thing... is it possible to set this up to where when I click "Capture" for the video it also starts the audio track recording?

the capture is going to capture from one source at a time, if your concern is syncing issues you can zoom in on your audio track then slide it to the left or right, or snap it in place to sync your footage up.
