Vegas 9.0b PE "An error has occurred"
by William Nankervis on Jul 5, 2009 at 10:47:27 am

When I try to render (any format, it seems) I get an error. *que screenshot* http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/3876/vegaswtf.png

I used to be able to export the same sequence (minus a few clips), but even if I take out the new clips, I get the same error. I just rendered this a little while ago and it didn't spit out an error, so could it just be that Vegas hates clips longer than 1 minute 50 seconds?
By "this" I mean.

I got an error regarding RAM once ("Out of memory, please close some applications." or something), but I have 4GB of RAM installed (all working) and Vegas is only using 2 or so. http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/4324/vegas2.png

Memory being used without Vegas running. http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/6348/vegasmemory.png

Details:
I'm working with .mpg files from a Sony DCR-SR45 Handycam, trying to export at 848x576 (RAM shouldn't be an issue for that, should it?)
System specs:
AMD Athlon 5000+ @ 2.6Ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM @ 667Mhz
500GB 7200RPM HDD
Windows XP SP3 32Bit (Can only use 3.3GB of physical RAM because of this.)

I'm new here, so if I left anything out, please tell me.
