When I have the preview of my video in draft or, preview mode? the lowest 2 qualities is my point. My video appears. When the quality is in the top to choices (x and best) I can't see the video. I had a title over my video, and I decided to crank the quality up and then the video stopped appearing, but the title stayed there. The original size of the video was 1024x768 and I was rendering it in 1280x720 HD for youtube. I set the project properties to have that resolution (1280x720) Anyway, my point is, I need this problem fixed so I can make the video. If you need anymore information or have any ideas on how to fix this, respond ASAP!!!!!

I've been having the same problem. I tried changing my preview quality down to draft and the lost/muted track appeared in my preview. I then changed the quality back to good and it stayed.

What codec does the video use? If it's FRAPS video, you may have to re-encode it to a codec that Vegas can support. Try huffYUV or Lagarith as two lossless codecs that should edit easily and retain quality.

I use the X-Vid Codec that I use with the Source recorder for Garrys Mod (actually, any steam game. Steam is a gaming client) I can try another codec :) If I have any problems I'll let you know.
